Two-factor authentication
Starting from 26.03.2024, Adyen will enforce Two-factor authentication on the Adyen platform. This means that you will have to set up two-factor authentication to be able to login to Adyen.
To set this up, you need to add SMS-authentication or an authenticator app (For example Google Authenticator og Microsoft Authenticator).
If you don’t have an authenticator app, you can select “Switch to SMS authentication” on the bottom of the Multifactor page.

Then you can add your phone number for verification. You will get a 6-digit code on SMS that you use when you login to the Adyen portal.

If you want to use an authenticator app, you scan the QR-code that shows when you try to login on the Multifactor page. After the account is added to the app, you get a 6-digit code on the app that you then use to login.
