How to adjust the layout of your table map in the Map Designer - including moving, resizing, rotating tables and adding decorative shapes.
Open the Map Designer
- Go to Munu Cloud Portal → Booking → Capacity Plans
- Click Map Designer
- Select the Booking Store (venue) and Resource Plan from the dropdowns at the top
- Click Refresh Map to load the current layout
- In the left panel, click the area you want to edit (e.g. Inside, Outside, Chambre Separee)
Move a table
There are two ways to move a table on the map:
- Drag and drop - click and hold the table, then drag it to the desired position
- Coordinates - click the table to select it, then adjust the X and Y values under Placement in the right panel for precise positioning
Tip: Enable Snap to grid in the bottom left corner to make table movement less sensitive and easier to align. Adjust the snap sensitivity with the slider below it.
Resize a table
Click a table to select it, then adjust the following fields under Size in the right panel:

| W (Width) | The horizontal size of the element on the map |
| H (Height) | The vertical size of the element on the map |
| Corner radius | Rounds the corners of the table shape. Higher number = more rounded. Set to 0 for a sharp rectangle. |
Rotate a table
Click a table to select it, then adjust the rotation angle under Rotate in the right panel. Enter a value between 0 and 360 degrees.
Add shapes to the map
You can add decorative shapes - such as walls, sofas, chairs, and dividers - make the map easier to read for staff during service.
- In the bottom panel, click Add custom shape to map to open the shape gallery
- Browse the available shapes - squares, circles, lines, curved dividers, sofas, chairs, and more
- Click and drag a shape from the gallery onto the map
- Use the same Placement, Size, and Rotate controls to position it
Save your changes
When you are happy with the layout, click Save in the top right corner - then publish the configurations once you are ready to publish it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I have different layouts for different areas of the venue?
Yes. Use the left panel to switch between areas. Each area has its own layout that can be edited independently.
