To get a better overview of your wastage of products, in regards of both inventory management and control of your cost vs sales, the waste functionality is a function that helps you digitally register all wastage when it happens directly on the POS. Both waste a single article and a whole order is located under functions on your POS.
Waste article
Simply press the functions button and select waste article. The function buttons are now inactive since the POS is waiting for you to select the article that you are wasting. Press the article and a dialog will be display where you select the reason for the wastage and the quantity to be wasted.
Waste order
Waste order is a functionality that can be used in cases where there is many articles that needs to be wasted in one operation. Either you have parked the order with articles in advance, or you create a new order with the articles you want to waste, the key is that everything visible in the order item list on the right side of the POS application will be wasted when using the waste order. Waste order can be found under functions, and after pressing the function button you will be prompted with the same dialog as for waste article, except for the option to select quantity since the quantity is controlled by the quantity entered for the specific articles.
