đź’ˇ Resource or table unions are a combination of existing tables, that can be joined to allow for a larger guest group. You can have different unions per capacity plan and tables can be part of multiple unions/ combinations.
Create resource unions
Go to the capacity plan you want to edit and scroll down to resource unions.

Click Add row to make a new resource union

- Check the relevant tables for this union and fill in capacity information.
- Capacity override: What’s the capacity of this tabled union? 2 tables for 2 persons each, would probably have a capacity override for 4 persons.
- Supported capacities: What number of guests can be booked on this table. If it is a table for 4 persons, you would probably allow 3 or 4 persons to book this combination. Set a comma between each number. E.g: 1,2,3,4,5,6
- Ad priority for this table union. Priorities are calculated together for resources and resources unions.
đź’ˇ BEST PRACTICE:
To avoid that a union is chosen before a comparable table capacity, resource unions usually support capacity that is not covered by normal tables and have a lower priority ( high number). EXAMPLE: A table union of 2 tables with 4 seats has supported capacity 5,6,7,8 and a priority of 70 as we want the system to book all “normal” tables with 4 persons first, before using table unions. Only groups lager than 4 should be offered the union.
